The length of the Kazan rail road is 18 km and there are 14 stations: Glavnyi vokzal, Staryi avtovokzal, Vakhitovo, Zheleznodorozhnaya, Rotornaya, Ametievo, Staroe Ametevo, Dostoevskogo, Abzhalilova, Novatorov, Kompressornyi, Karier, Derbishki, Novie Derbishki. The new line has been open since August, 2005.

It will take you 30 minutes of a ride to get from the first station to the last one. The train arrives every 30 minutes. The line works from 6 a.m. till 11p.m. The cost of a ticket is 5 rubles, the same as on a bus or a trolleybus.
